Amends article 13 section 11
13:11
Until otherwise provided by law, there shall be a State Board of Equalization consisting of four residents of the State who shall be appointed by the Governor, by and with the consent of the senate, whose terms of office shall be for four years and until their successors are appointed and qualified; provided, that two of said members shall be appointed every two years. There shall also be in each county of the State a County Board of Equalization, consisting of the Board of County Commissioners of said county. The duties of the State Board of Equalization and of the several County Boards of Equalization shall be to adjust and equalize the valuation of the real and personal property of the State and of the several counties thereof, as may be provided by law. Each board shall also perform such other duties as may be provided by law.
