Looks like an excellent plugin! But can it also show thumbs instead of the large images? With links to the original (or resized) images on Picasaweb? Preferably with a lightbox/thickbox link… ;)
You can change the image size using the plugin’s options menu. As for linking the images to their originals, I guess I could add that next time I update the plugin. I don’t know when that will be, though.
Hi,
It seems like a great plugin. Unfortunately my site is hosted @ a shared server which has the URL file-access disabled. Do you have any trick in your sleeve for how to deal with this?
“Warning: file_get_contents(): URL file-access is disabled…”
Yeah, I’ve heard from somebody else already with the same problem. I should add to the documentation that PHP’s allow_url_fopen setting needs to be on. It usually is, except at paranoid hosts.
When I get a chance, I’ll look into other ways to grab the PicasaWeb info that doesn’t requlre this setting.
I’m uploading v1.11 to wordpress.org as we speak. It includes some fallback mechanisms in case allow_url_fopen is turned off. See if it works for you. If not, there’s a new note in the FAQ that may help (under heading “it doesn’t work”).
Didn’t have time to implement sillhuwet’s suggestion yet.

I’m having the same issue. I’m hosted with Dreamhost.
