My blogs get lots of spam comments. I wrote a spam filter to catch it and shoot it on site. Now I’m watching closely to see how it performs. Every time it catches something, the counter in the sidebar goes up.

So why did all the spammers stop attacking my site the minute I deployed this new defense? C’mon, I want to see the counter go up! Just for a couple days, dish it out. Then you can stop again. (Please do stop, actually, since even though my filter will catch your filth, I’d rather not waste server resources doing so.)

Today I released a new WordPress plugin, KB Easy PicasaWeb.

Note: This is not the place to comment about the plugin. No, this is the place to comment on how adorable my boy is. If you want to talk about the plugin, do it on one of these posts.

I don’t put many photos on this site, since it’s my professional face to the world; I mainly use the plugin on my private blog that only my friends and relatives get to see. But if you’re curious to see a demo of this new plugin, well, here goes. Naturally, my boy gets the starring role:
