Happy Introvert Day! Introverts of the World, Unite!

Introverts, unite!

I’m perfectly happy to stay home and read a book, watch a movie, or play a board game with my wife. As much as my wife loves parties, group get-togethers, and having company, that’s not so much my thing. Well, unless it’s all people that I know, and I’ll have plenty of opportunity to actually talk with individuals in the group. But when it’s the church’s Christmas party, or a whole bunch of people at a Halloween party, I’d rather not go. As far as I’m concerned, we’ll just be walking around repeating the same dull conversation with everybody:

Hi, how are you. Really? Yeah, me too. Good pizza. Mmm-hmm. So what’s your costume? Great. Actually I could tell what it is, but I’m just asking because I can’t figure out what else to say. What’s the point of this party again?

So unite, introverts, unite! You have nothing to lose but your dull, forced conversations!

Happy introvert day .

I can perfectly understand you because I am the same. And my wife is like yours :)

Let’s promote this “introvert day” thing…

Better yet, let’s make it “introvert year.”
